Trolling, casting or jigging spoons all have their place in your tackle box for a variety of species throughout the season.

Fluttering spoons are trolled because of their light weight. These spoons can be set behind downriggers, dipsy divers, jet divers and many different set-ups using sinkers. Casting spoons have a tighter wobble and come in a variety of weights. These spoons can be cast very far distances and give the angler the option of fishing deeper in the water column.

Vertical jigging spoons are very common during the winter months. Jigged bare or tipped with a minnow this technique is proven to catch every species of game fish.
