Jigs
Jig fishing is probably Ontario’s favourite technique to use on the
water. Either from shore or boat jigs are a highly effective yet very
simple method. Cast, pitch or flip your jig to a specific area and
simply bring the bait back to the boat or shore. Dragging, hoping and
swimming the jigs are all simple and productive methods to entice fish
into striking. There are many different jigs on the market from various
tackle companies. Northland and Fin-Tec tackle offer a great selection
of technique specific jigs.
