Ball Head Jigs
This style of jig head is most commonly used for rigging soft plastics like twister tail grubs and often times hair jigs. On the base of the ball there is typically a collar that has a barbed keeper to retain the plastic in it's position. This style of head often times is also used when live bait fishing with minnows and other natural baits either with or without a plastic trailer. Ball head jigs also come with specialized short shank hooks for specific presentations.
